Once an English teacher, Elle got sucked into the world of dark romance through Booktok, happily claiming "Pfft, there's nothing that can shock me." Spoiler: she was wrong.
What actually shocked her was a reignited passion for writing after years of scrawling "awkward phrasing" and "what???" across high school drafts. Now, she writes the stories her students were banned from reading in class.
